John Deere CES Influencer Kit

CONSUMER ELECTRONICS SHOW

With CES 2021 shifting to an all-virtual format, the challenge was clear: How do you capture the energy of one of the world’s largest trade shows when attendees can’t be there in person?

Our answer was a carefully curated media kit designed to bring both the farm and the future of technology straight to them. Inside, recipients discovered a planting kit with actual seeds—an interactive activity to ground them in the agriculture experience. To balance the tactile with the cutting edge, each kit also included a virtual-reality headset preloaded with a custom hype video and exclusive content that delivered an immersive preview of the show.

The kits generated buzz across digital platforms, garnered widespread PR coverage, and earned a Gold Addy at the annual American Advertising Federation® Awards—rising above 30,000 national entries. By combining play, technology, and narrative, we turned a virtual show into a memorable, hands-on moment.

John Deere Classic Influencer Kit

JOHN DEERE CLASSIC

With COVID-19 restrictions still in place, fans of the John Deere Classic couldn’t attend the annual tournament. So we brought the course to them.

Each custom-built kit was designed to recreate the experience in miniature. Opening the box, recipients found an indoor putting green complete with a hole and cup. Add in a branded hat, a travel putter, and a set of golf balls, and the mood was unmistakably “tournament day.” The cherry on top? The putting cup doubled as a travel coffee mug.

By combining playful interactivity with useful, branded items, the kits made fans feel like they were part of the action—and inspired them to share their experience online.

Andy Clean Influencer Kit

ANDY CLEAN

Andy Pasztor (aka Andy Clean) is a Canadian farmer with a cult following. Known for his spotless equipment and fun-loving demeanor, Andy built a large online audience by turning tractor cleaning into an artform.

When John Deere learned he’d be attending a major U.S. farm show, they seized the opportunity to surprise him with something special. We created a completely customized influencer kit that perfectly aligned with his brand—delivered in a five-gallon wash bucket topped with fake soap bubbles.

Inside: a wide array of cleaning supplies. But the star of the show was a fully customized action figure designed to look just like Andy himself—down to his black shades, T-shirt, and hat. We even created matching kits for each member of his family.

Andy’s heartfelt (and humorous) social posts gave Deere a boost of exposure and goodwill with his audience—and demonstrated the power of personalization done right.
